myTaskServer offers 2 types of notification for the receiver in case a task is sent out or updated:

  • E-mails and
  • Mobile notification

The default notification is e-mail, so when the project manager sends out a task for the first time to a new resource/receiver, notification will be given by e-mail.

The e-mail contain information about the task, and options to accept and later complete the task in MTS. All of this can be done directly from most e-mail clients.

If the receiver finds the notifications unwanted, there is an unsubscribe link to stop further notification.

Receivers using the myTaskServer mobile app will find an option to disable e-mail notification in the Settings - so further notifications will be on the mobile.
